Connecting to a new class itself is self motivating for the student. The mind is open and positively inclined towards recieving something new. He is no longer connected to the past exams, he has a fresh approach. This is the required “aspiration” of the seeker. This vibration of “wanting to recieve positivity” is the foundation for “higher receiving”
Sharing the answers with a Guru would help in the required awareness of strengths and weaknesses and area to be focused.
What is shared? The present understanding of the mind. This reveals to the Guru, what more needs to be explained and in which direction the seekers personal journey is taking him.
The interaction between Shri Krishna and Arjun is a prime example of “a seeking mind, inspiration, absorbtion of the Gyanam, being in a state of positive recieving and inner growth”
Lets look at Arjun. He had a friend & cousin called Krishna, whom he loved and trusted. Remember, Arjun didn’t know who Krishna really was!
If you go to someone who you trust when you have a major problem & are offered either his work force of 50,000 plus people or just him, what would you opt for?
It is only during his deeper interaction that Arjun was made to realise who his beloved cousin really was.
Look at the level of trust that Arjun had in Krishna ...
- Even when his son Abhimanyu, was killed in the battlefield he did not blame Krishna!
- He did not blame Him even after all the Pandava children were killed! There was no blame game there. It was only ‘ I start with trust & remain in trust!’
However, we start with trust but then waver & don’t know where the trust went… By the end of it, neither do we trust ourselves nor do we trust the Divine!
So that trust was also an illusion. We started where we allowed maya (the illusion) to interfere.
Maya does not interfere. We allow it to, making our level of trust also a mithya (an illusion). Usually trust is broken not because of an act but because of ignorance.
Arjun could’ve easily turned around & accused Krishna of his son’s death saying “You made me fight the war. Had I not fought the war at least my son would have been alive. The entire family would have been together. So what if we didn’t have the kingdom!” But, Arjun realized that they were there for a soul purpose.
Abhimanyu came with the Soul purpose of participating in the Mahabharat (Hindu Epic) Yudh (war). When he was he was in the womb, he could hear the entire thing which enabled him to enter the chakravyuh (a Military formation narrated in the war of Mahabharata).
The Mahabharat Yudh inspired Arjun to ask questions. This challenge provoked the Seeker in Arjun to become the Knower.
What do we think for ourselves would provoke us into asking or moving from one state to another, or are we comfortable where we are?
