PUJNEEYA GURUDEV SHRI YUKTESHWAR GIRIJI MAHARAJ
Transformation through Gyaan
Received Through Bhakta Aarti Khosla
A Seeker Shared how Satsang had completely transformed their lives, though they had initially come for healing, which created the desire to know more about karma and gyanam.
Aarti Maa: It is only when a situation is created in your life, you really know what you are.what kind of strengths you have.what kind of weaknesses you have.what is the spring back of your strengths and weaknesses.how long can you simmer in that.and when you simmer, how does it come out? Basically the inner strength is sourced by the self for the self. However, till the knowledge of the power of this Self is unknown, how can one access its energy and understanding? This is mandatory for every man, to re-learn about himself. Gyanam has the power of transformation. Then small acts done through the power of deeper understanding also heal and transform.
Female energy is more compassionate and subtle. However, our Ashram (during Gurudev's times) was full of males, all determined to prove themselves. Gurudev had to tackle each one's egos! There was this one person who was always very dignified. He was one of the very few who could speak fluent English, had read Shakespeare, was very British in his behaviour and was very proper.
One day, Gurudev called one of us and shared that that he needed to heal that person. Saying this he asked us to deliver a letter to him and asked us to stay in his room for forty minutes after that (normally, we did not enter each other's quarters) and then come back and tell him what had happened. The moment the note/letter was handed over to him his entire expression changed and he started abusing. He went on and on! When we came back Gurudev then explained to us that had he not released his inner turmoil in this manner, that person would have had a brain haemorrhage! At the same time, since the language hadn't been understood there was no negative reaction. After that day, that person was completely transformed and grateful to Gurudev for having helped him release his emotions. He became very sober for he knew that over there his real Self was visible and could not be hidden behind good clothes and impeccable manners! He became lighter inside and opened more towards Gyan and transformed.
A true Healer heals at all levels, sometimes even the steam of anger when released, with understanding, can help heal. The Guru understand that till there is no transformation in the persona, Gyan will only be understood, not applied.
