Seeker : About a line from the bhajan "Satguru main teri patang." which says please don't leave me...!

Maa: First of all, who is a Satguru?

Various answers:

-Inner Self

-Higher Self/Soul

Maa: It is not Higher Self. It is not Soul. If your Higher Self was high enough today, it would not need to go higher! Please remember this! The Higher Self is also stithi bound! Higher Self is where you would go if you were to die today. Higher Self is that vibration that you are vibrating at, when you concluded! Higher Self is not your Guru. Don't be under that illusion! A Junior School teacher is a teacher in the Junior School. She however, cannot teach in the Senior School!

There is only one Satguru and that is one that uses SAT or Gyan to remove your ignorance and that brings you into your Buddhahood. Gyan is PURNA SAT. (ultimate truth) It is has the potential to take you inwards and provoke you into thinking and deeper into dhyanam/meditation. After all, it is reality that whatever you may be, man has weaknesses and will be tempted. When you say "I am 'it'!", then Prakriti will come to test 'it'! This is what this line from the bhajan means! That till we are connected to the Purna SAT, we can fly, i.e stay light in our minds, be free, be free from heavy karmas!

The love and lightness we feel with Satsang, connects us to the one through whom we recieive the same. We respect a book because we love the subject. How many of you know who has written the Gita? How many of you thank Ved Vyas for having written the Gita? The day you completely connect to the consciousness of the Gita, love its transformational essence that day you will thank Ved Vyas!

seeker: Regarding the following passage from the message:

"The gardener can try his level best to nourish the seed differently. However, if the intelligence has been programmed to look and smell like a red rose, the gardener can do everything that his intellect commands but the red rose cannot be changed."

In this context he narrated a story about how an Ashramite (Aurobindo) had a plant which grew white roses, but she wanted to give a red rose to Mother on her birthday. Her desire was so intense that that plant produced a red rose on that day.If she could do that why can't a gardener.?

Maa: I am glad you brought that up. I had not reached that level of answer. A gardener is a Doer. The sentence was "The gardener cannot change the colour. The doer cannot, however if he/she is only connected to satisfying not his/her personal will, but that of a Knower, then Prakriti, or Divine Intelligence recognises this unconditional love and Bhakti Bhav and presents a miracle. This is called Kripa, or Grace. It is connected to the Divine Will.

Only when the level of Gyan that you are receiving and your level of receptivity are in synch will you absorb and change! Similarly, if Narayan has to give complete Gyan, then somebody who can receive complete Gyan also has to be there!

This is a beautiful point for you also. When you ask a question, observe your question as an outsider because your question will reveal to you your stithi!

seeker: If everything is about looking at yourself, then what about motivation...

Maa: A Doer wants motivation from outside. To perform an outter act. For outter appreciation. Whenever a Seeker receives motivation, an inner working will take place. That is why it is called INspiration. Inner satisfaction and peace are of prime importance. A Knower INSPIRES all. It all depends on whether you want motivation, or you seek inspiration. A Seeker will get inspired by anything.any incident will motivate him into a higher degree of understanding and growth. It all depends on your stithi. Motivation is thus also a stithi based response.
