Received Through Bhakta Aarti Khosla Ji

The spiritual solution.

The first step would be that I have to not only hear, but absorb the Satsang. Personalise it, as if, this is being said for me only. This would be followed by the next step namely vichar/contemplation. In other words, I have to take the SAT and contemplate inside me how I misunderstand. My stumbling block that is related to my ego,has become my means to misunderstand. That for me is vichara, identification through deeper introspection or meditation.

Bhajan is not going to free you of your ego! That is not practical. When you go to receive Satsang, now onwards be aware that it is only to clear that one individual stumbling block and do vichara/contemplation to try and connect it to that ego word that you have said for yourself.

If you have said 'understanding' then take all the gyan you have received to see how you personalize it. Meditate on what you have to leave i.e. misunderstanding. Once you leave misunderstanding you are free. So, the only block you have is what you have voiced! You should feel, "I have a level of misunderstanding that hasn't yet been transmuted into Satvic Understanding, the kind that gives me peace."

The third step is dheeraj (patience), that is, patience with understanding or acceptance. With understanding and accepting automatically comes dheeraj.

The final step is nirbhayata (fearlessness). Somebody who has absorbed the Gyan and its Satvic element has produced an internal level of faith! I don't have to have it now. I am it! If you have it, it can be separated from you. If you ARE IT, there can never be a separation! That is nirbhayata. It comes from the word NIRakaar (The Divine/ formless/ Allness). Nirbhayata, a word in our language, that came due to experiences by the Guru's. Its closest word in English is fearless, however Nirbhayta is 'fear free.' An advanced Yogis state of mind! An experience that has been put into a word to describe itself!

Similarly, if you have said 'Peace' then look at the things that provoke the feeling "inside you" that don't give peace! What disturbs the peace? Are you looking for outer behavior of people and events to make you feel at peace? Then you will always be disturbed, since people and events are forever changeable. Take charge of yourself, at least come to a certain level of inner strength.

If you are going to focus on your aspiration all the time and not on your stumbling block then it is no good! You could be bathing with the best soap everyday, but, if you are going to be walking through the keechar/ slush after that, then even the best soap is of no good!
