Received Through Bhakta Aarti Khosla Ji

Before being in Gyan and singing "shivo hum" and now singing the same bhajan., you did not need to change the words of the bhajan 'shivo hum.' You only increased the awareness of atmanah energy in your mind, and so now you are singing the same bhajan more soulfully! The energy now, is coming from a different level. It now brings tears to your eyes when you realize that this is about me! This is me! I am singing in glory to my Self. This bhajan is not about the Divine, it is about the Divine in me! You are actually singing about your Self and you are feeling good. You are feeling calm. You are feeling pure! If you talk about your body self, your emotional self, or even your intellectual self, nobody is going to feel good listening to that after ten minutes! The person will switch off, and you too, will not feel a sense of pride, of softness! Nobody is interested! At best, you may find two or three listeners! On the other hand, when you talk about your soul and your soul stithi, you will find many listeners because that is the common factor. You are now talking about what is the commonality and the strongest inner connection! Yet, it is not a common subject!

See, how by just deeper connection to Gyan, your understanding of a simple thing like a bhajan is now going deeper and deeper! It is like drilling! You have made that bore well for your Self to the ultimate destination - your true Self, your Highest Self which is Paramatama. My highest destiny is Krishna! My highest destiny is Buddha! My highest destiny is Jesus! My highest destiny is Guru Nanakdev! That is my highest identity, and yet, I choose to live a lower identity? They are our inspiration, to know that it is possible in a human life. How do we do that? With Gyan and Dhyan that "drills" that hole. The deeper it goes the more inspired, to drill it further! That is why it has to be done continuously. When you had started (drilling), the soil was soft with the moisture of any form of 'dukha or frustration.' But if left ,it gets filled up, with outter harder energies of egoistic desires and you have to start the process all over again! The 'softer soil' may come out more easily, but still you have to restart "digging" which however, happens very quickly! So, if in your previous life, you had done that much and left it, it will collect but it will be soft! Hence, it will not be so much of an effort to dig again! But the digging must not stop! The drilling must not stop! If the digging stops, other things come and take its place! Then there is that much more labour! Till the "drilling" is there, it is beautiful because however deep you have gone, the satvic vibration of Gyan will go that deep and do its miracle! Your understanding and awareness will now be deeper.
